Programs: Manhattanville Educational Leadership Program
Overview
We are pleased to work in collaboration with Manhattanville College to offer our consortium members an opportunity to earn a Masters of Professional Studies (MPS) in Educational Leadership or a Professional Diploma (PD) in Educational Leadership, as well as achieving New York State Certification as a School Building Leader. This partnership provides participants with the opportunity to become part of a cohort of future educational leaders. In addition, classes are located at a convenient off-campus location, and consortium members receive a one-third reduction off of the regular tuition.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum of 3 years classroom experience
- Two letters of recommendation
- Interview
- Writing Assessment
Completion Requirements for MPS Program:
- 30 credits of coursework
- 6 credits dual internship: school/community
- Professional Portfolio
- Course-related field experiences
- Maintain 3.0 or better throughout program
- Exit interview
Completion Requirements for PD Program:
- 24 credits coursework
- 6 credits dual internship: school/community
- Professional Portfolio
- Course-related field experiences
- Maintain 3.0 or better throughout program
- Exit interview
