Mini-Grants Overview
Several different mini-grants are available on a competitive basis to individual teachers and groups of teachers in the nine member districts of the Teacher Center at Purchase College. The goal of the mini-grants is to promote innovation in curriculum and instruction in order to improve student achievement. Professional and Curriculum Development Grants, a maximum of $2,000, are awarded to teachers to support innovative instructional and curriculum initiatives that have a positive impact on teaching and learning in the classroom. Three (3) School for the Future Grants will be awarded to member schools up to $3,000 for collaborative projects involving faculties and building principals who are seeking to change curriculum or the structure of their schools in order to improve student performance.
